unable to refresh packages and upgrade os to latest version.

When I was trying to update to latest sfos version, I encountered Fatal error: Timeout exceeded when accessing 'https://store-repository.jolla.com/releases/2.0.5.6/jolla-hw/adaptation-qualcomm-l500d/armv7hl/repodata/repomd.xml?credentials=store'. while trying to pkcon refreshnslookup result store-repository.jolla.com with corresponding IP address. Name: store-repository.jolla.com Address: 52.19.233.144 Name: store-repository.jolla.com Address: 52.212.45.73 but unable to ping. I thought it could be because of the isp. So I tried with a vpn. Still ping didn't responds. What to do ?

yea. you were right. i changed provider, now its fine.but now after reaching 40 percent, it says authentication failed ( is ssu setup correctly ?) what to do?

@Joice:

  • check that the date and time on your device are about correct (+/- 3 mins does not matter)
  • check that you can browse to a well known web page with Jolla browser
  • sign in to your Jolla account again (Settings > Accounts > Jolla: pull down "Update sign-in credentials"
  • ssu setup: do on command line:

devel-su
ssu fl release
ssu do sales
ssu re 2.1.1.23

Now try the update again in Settings > Sailfish OS updates.
