Hi, my JP01 bricked but I managed to recovery the data using ssh.

Now I wanted to perform a factory reset but I can't do it using recovery mode on my 2 computers (problem is, my windows is not in english and I had to guess- wrongly - the appropriate NDIS driver and don't know how to change it).

I can't believe that a factory reset needs a computer or a working graphical interface, is there a way to start the reset form the command line (ssh)?

Thank you

Sure. The factory reset is in the end of Settings:
Settings > Reset device.

Yeah, I answered with that as well and promptly removed it, ........now read the question again ;)

The device is bricked but he recovered data via SSH.....if it's bricked, he isn't going into Settings/Reset device.

Perhaps I misunderstand the question, but I believe the OP has been around the forums and owned a Jolla long enough to know that there is a Reset device option, in which case, I think he would have found it? :)

@Edz so what "is there a way to start the reset form graphical interface?" means, your guess? Kind of android-like graphical recovery? If so, there are no any way to do this :)

@Edz my bad, did not read carefully. just pondering where that graphical interface would be located...

@jovirkku I mean that without The sfos Graphical interface or a correctly set up computer You can't reset the phone.

I need a Way to reset The Phone over ssh as pointed out by @Edz

Thank you

I figured out the issue: at the end of the question I intended to write "from command line" but instead I wrote "from graphical interface". I'm going to edit the question. Thanks @jovirkku and @Edz.

So the question is still open: can I trigger a phone reset from command line?

Thank you.
