Hello,

The Sailfish OS SDK update 1709 has been released. This update has the latest 2.1.2.3 build environment, which matches the Jolla Release 2.1.2 (Kiiminkijoki). Besides the Jolla Release update there are some smaller SDK fixes included, which you can check out in more detail from the release notes.

If you have an older beta release of the SDK, you should see an update notification in the Sailfish OS IDE. View more information in the SDK wiki page and also check out the known issues page.

Happy hacking!

There are also some Harbour RPM validator updates and other fixes included, which are listed in detail in the release notes.

Has anyone had any issues upgrading to this on linux? I'm on Ubuntu 14.04 and the upgrader detects new version and downloads, once it restarts the vertical size of the dialog box seems to be unbounded - I can see a title bar but the bottom of the dialog box extends off the end of the screen - so I cannot interact with the dialog/radio buttons.

@cooley this reminds me one known issue - please try running it from command line with export LIBOVERLAY_SCROLLBAR=0.

@martyone - worked like a charm thanks

I am using Ubuntu 16.04 LTS and experienced the same issue as @coley:

While running the SDKMaintanceTool I got numerous Gtk-CRITICAL **: IA__gtk_widget_style_get: assertion 'GTK_IS_WIDGET (widget)' failed errors. Executing export LIBOVERLAY_SCROLLBAR=0 in terminal before running the SDKMaintanceTool didn't solved it. But I finally solved it by executing /path/to/SDKMaintanceTool -style motif :)
