[Bug] Dial no sound from earpiece

  1. When calling, no sound is heard in my earpiece, but when I press "Speaker", I can heard the sound.
  2. When the "loudspeaker" is turned on, it can not be turned off.

p.s. Speaker and microphone are functioning properly.

You can use CSDTool to see if it is a problem with hardware.

There are a few ways to get to CSDTool., I get to it this way; Settings/About product and then tap 5 or more times on the Jamsanjoki text, this opens a disclaimer page, hit Accept/Individual tests and scroll down to audio section and start testing.

If the test passes, then we can likely assume that it is a software problem.

Okay, that's good news. As a first attempt at software repair, you could try reinstalling the voicecall ui but this will require you to use developer mode,

Assuming you have developer mode activated, use the following commands to remove/install the ui;

To remove it, use

pkcon remove voicecall-ui-jolla

To reinstall, use

pkcon install voicecall-ui-jolla

You may need to reboot the device after to see the changes (if any).

In that case I would try a factory reset

But be careful! Yesterday I did a factory reset, because of a broken camera at my Jolla C. After that I had this issue too https://together.jolla.com/question/164682/cant-update-to-211/
