As my beloved Jolla 1 is breathing its last breaths I have had to by a new phone. Bought an Xperia X to be ready for the hopefully soon coming images (with Android argh)

Well that's off topic, here's the question:

I can't figure out how to get the SD card out. I feel rather stupid about it. This site and the web in general has nothing about it.Only about formatting, moving files etc.

I hope you can help me.

Did you try long press on the "SD card size indicator" dialog in settings/storage?

  1. Umount the SD-Card via Settings or shutdown your phone
  2. Use your finger-nail to drag the card out of the slot-> I think it wasn't a push-push-slot :(

Point 2. is impossible until he removes The Other Half. How to remove it is explained in the guide, in the section Inserting a SIM Card:

Lift TOH

Thanks @hoschi. I tried that earlier, but it was so stuck I was afraid that I was about to ruin something. It just needed a bit more persuasion ;)

Very good, thats the cause of the problem. If you don't know how to open the beloved Jolla, you may use a hammer. The xperia X image is comming closer. ;-)

In that case: a reminder to the original user guide comes in handy ;-)
