Gallery shows news pictures at the very bottom [duplicate]
Since a couple of days, I recognized that newly shot images appear at the very bottom of the gallery. I believe this is due to some Metatag or filename the camera applies. Interestingly it works from the filepicker, e.g. if you post an image to facebook. Has anyone seen this before? What can I try to make it work again, this is a bit annoying.
I think it's about the date in the meta-data. Some pictures don't get a real timestamp so they appear as if they were taken at Unix time 0 which is 1 January 1970.
The reason it appears normally in other apps could be because they use the filesystem time ?
I've seen it before but didn't manage to reproduce.

lispy ( 2017-08-28 12:00:04 +0200 )editIf I manually change the metadata tag "Title" to the filename it's being picked up correctly by the gallery. The Title field is empty and is obviously used by the gallery to sort it. I think this is a bug in the new camera app, as the field it should be filled
