Not sure if this is some kind of battery saving feature, but android GPS apps (Here WeGO) seem to lose lock when you're not moving. As long as the car is moving GPS works fine and dandy, as soon as you stop at stop lights, 2-3 seconds and it's 'Waiting for GPS', the lock resumes normally as soon as the car starts moving. Has anyone found a way to fix it? (or is it only my phone behaving this way?)

HERE WeGo (GPS search) doesn't work anymore on Jolla C / Aqua Fish. Neither with current version in Play Store (2.0.11608) nor with current version in Jolla Store (1:2.0.11510). Jolla 1 and tablet I still need to verify.
Latest working version seems to be 2.0.11424. Didn't try so far to go one step higher for testing. You can get this version e.g.via apkpure.com. APKpure website: See chapter "HERE WeGo - Offline Maps & GPS APK Version History" for this app APKpure app: In chapter "information" for this app you can see a small green icon which displays older versions for download.
Agree... HERE should be aware of the issue. But maybe we should make a liite bit more pressure by writing to applications@here.com ;)
I already did write them emails describing the issue. The first two have been answered ("We are still working on fixing this issue."). The third one hasn't been answered yet...

The current versions of Here Wego (Android) don't work on Jolla C / Aqua Fish devices, see here. The behavior I observe is that the app is able to get GPS fix when startet or when re-activated from background, but is unable to continuously maintain that GPS fix ("Waiting for GPS"). Native Sailfish GPS apps don't show this issue.
From what I know, the people at Here are aware of the problem, but were unable to fix it so far.

edit: 2.0.11510 works for me, however has the described issue of losing lock when the car stops moving, when moving around everything works great
