Keyboard auto-hide inconsistency.

Basically i have noticed that in certain circumstances and especially in Android supported apps the keyboard auto-hides after less than a second when selecting a text input field, or when opening a app page that contains an input field and which automatically launches the keyboard even without user input.
What it should be doing is maintain position on bottom screen until screen swipe down on keyboard, screen tap.
Anybody noticed this? It works say in SFOS browser Jolla Together but not in Ebay Android App, Contact User with General Question on item for auction.
