Connecting activity tracker

Previously connecting an activity tracker, for example, Polar Loop, was impossible due to missing support in Bluetooth. But now with the newest update should the support be there for these kinds of devices and their Android software? Or could someone point out what is still missing in Jolla C to support the connection?

BTLE has worked for ages, provided you do some tweaks.

I have a nodejs script that connectd to my BTLE-enabled HRM-belt and syncs heartbeat from it. It's just proof-of-concept though.

somehow related - as nokia bought withings: would be great if jolla could talkbto them about collaboration. maybe even some.old coworkers still there -who knows. nokia/withings environment support on sailfish would be a big plus. dont know how far your offices are apart- but you should grab a bottle of whatever together and make it happen.

If that BLE tracker is using some of the documented, standardized GATT profiles, writing a native app for Sailfish (if the right QtBluetooth version is here) should be fairly easy if you know what you're doing.
