My Jolla phone doesn't work. I accidentally put a magnet in my pocket close to the phone and the drive got corrupted. The phone doesn't properly boot anymore. When I start the phone a black screen with the Jolla logo appears followed by a black screen and ending in a completely white screen.

How can I restore the phone? I don't need to keep the data.

Magnets cannot harm Smartphones, except maybe for the magnetic field sensors at high field strengths (not attainable with a permanent magnet).

Only with high field strength electric current driven magnetic fields (as in an MRT device, close nearby a particle accelerator, etc.) there is a chance of any effect.

Note, with a small permanent magnet, even classic harddisk drives are hard to damage (but beware of modern permanent magnets from loudspeakers and alternating magnet fields).

BTW, "My Jolla phone doesn't work. [...] The phone doesn't start anymore." does not tell, at which stage the boot process fails. So please do not expect any substantial answer, as there is no basis (i.e. concise information) for that.

I updated the question. I supose the solution is to flash the memory and start from scratch. How can I do it?
