With my Jolla 1 trying to update from, I am unable to perform a system update. I am getting a 404 when trying to update through the terminal.

Original post: Powered on my Jolla to check out the latest Sailfish updates for the first time in about a year, and the repo is down

downforeveryoneorjustme.com says otherwise, still not online

I think downforeveryoneorjustme does not tell the real status. Probably because store-repository.jolla.com does not reply on plain HTTP.

I see it's up when using HTTPS. Problem is that the update tool in Sailfish queries an HTTP address. The real issue is probably redirection from HTTP, otherwise older systems still using the HTTP just can't upgrade. Unless there is a way to fix the URL it queries when looking for updates?

I'm quite sure it has always been HTTPS only, so there is probably something wrong on your device

My bad, it does use HTTPS, edited my question. I was still unable to update, though. I am going through the tedious factory reset now :) I'll report back, if it still doesn't work.
