CodeReader hanging forever on Jolla1 [answered]

WITHDROWN QUESTION: See below my note from September 11th. prometheos
Fresh started CodeReader hangs one eternity long (>5 min) while reading a qr-code, saying: "Scan in progress...". I think then: What a messy app!
After the first scan eventually finished, then are subseqent scans very quick (<2 sec). I feel than: "That's a perfect app!"

Who knows a workaround ? I would appreciate a soundly usable app.

I can reproduce this, thus filed a bug report at https://github.com/steffen-foerster/sailfish-barcode/issues/33

After a single successful scan (of a QR-Code, in my case), the "hanging on first scan" issue is gone.

See CodeReader issue #33 for details.

If you (or anyone else) still experiences hangs after successfully detecting a Barcode once, please describe your experiences in detail in a comment, there.

@olf @steffen-foerster I decided to wiithdraw this questionafter You could not confirm my tests and I repeated my tests with a quite positive result. See the discussion => [https://github.com/steffen-foerster/sailfish-barcode/issues/33].
