Using Bluetooth sync on a ford focus (2013 model) the jolla connects properly on the device and mutes the speakers but no audio goes to the car speakers. phone book works though. This worked on n9.

Do you possibly mean something like this: https://together.jolla.com/question/868/media-player-trough-carkit-handsfreenot-working/ ?

Took me 20 minutes to sync the audio for the first time. After that, I haven't had any issues.

@lk yeah i guess so. Don't know if there is anything specific with the ford system. I tried with cutespotify and the built in videoplayer.

@Milo How did you get it to work? Did you just connect to SYNC and wait 20 minutes? The thing is the BT is connected but there is no audio coming to the car speakers. Whats apps did you try with? I tried cutespotify and the default video player.

@saya, I just connected through bluetooth and made a phone call to test if it works. Well, it didn't work immediately, but after the phone call had lasted for 20 minutes, the audio was finally connected through the bluetooth system, and after that there hasn't been any issues with it.. Does the bluetooth menu on your phone say "Connecting audio..." or "audio connected"?

I'm having a Ford Fiesta ST (2013 model) and Jolla 1.0.3.8 works as expected with its built-in Microsoft SYNC system.

I've tested pairing, downloading the phonebook, calling and receiving a call successfully. It just works as flawless as my old N900. :-)

Did you try playing music? That's what I can't get working.

This works now running 1.0.5.16. It might have worked before I didn't try in the meantime.
