Hello guys I backed up mmcblk0p28 from my Jolla C adn restored it on another Jolla C. Anything works, but i have no WiFi and WiFi have no MAC-Address and couln#t be activated.
Could it be solved without factory resest? Thanks

This post is a wiki. Anyone with karma >75 is welcome to improve it.
Tested and confirmed:
If you make an dd image of Sailfish 2.1.1.xx or higher you can restore it only on the same version! So you need first update your Jolla after Factory Reset to the same version you want to restore.
Adterwards you can restore the dd image. WiFi works and has MAC-Address

try reinstall kernel modules
coderus ( 2017-09-19 11:29:44 +0300 )edit@ExPLIT i recently went through a restore exercise and after factory reset update and restore, i did not have the network settings restored for some reason. After entering the WIFI passwords though everything connected ok.
