My Fairphone got a new display module, unfortunately it only works with FPOS 17.09.3. Older OSes => Bootloop with bluescreen. The SF-OS needs to be set on top of FPOS 1.8.1 or FP-Open 16.10, which both do not support the new display. Is there any possibility to update the drivers? I miss SF-OS so much !!!

I'm working on moving the Fairphone 2 Sailfish OS port to use FP-Open 17.10.1 as base Android. Only issue preventing release of the new version is broken video recording. I'm also thinking whether to release the version or wait for the release of 2.1.2 which is currently in early access.

If you need someone for testing, I'd like to try it (the FP2 is my second phone since the display issue appeard and I don't use video on my phones)

I can share the image for testing once I have tested some things on it. Hopefully some time this week.

Thanks Mal. I think release 2.1.2.xx would be better because has some problems with Security Code and some other bugs... And Jolla pulled it back.

+1 for 2.1.2.x.x - its running very smooth and solid on my Jolla 1 as I'm also seeing view complaints around here it shouldn't be long before a final release
