After installing SailfishX I can't find Yalp-Store or F-Droid in the Jolla-Store...

Urgently needed to find and install important apps on my Xperia X!!

open your browser, type "yalp store", download the .apk as mentioned from the f-droid webite and install it. you need to activate insecure software installation. and btw., if android apps are that urgend for you, you really should try an android phone. ;)

Never again, some weeks with Xperia as standby phone on Android are definitely enough...!! How could you say... an app makes no OS. Some of the Android apps are just necessary.

I installed yalp store, but it does not show any of my apps in your apps list (Logged in with my credentials). Will this feature work only with installed Gapps or something? Well it does find and install them all the same. The again: Calendar (Google) will not run without Google Play services.

I read about Yalp in this forum and used it to download one of the commercial music streaming apps I like and pay for and that I could find elsewhere. Is Yalp a thrustworthy app. I downloaded it from F-Droid, and so far I had no negative experience with F-Droid. I already used it a few years ago on an android phone. So would you say that Yalp is ok? Not mal- or spyware? (Sorry, I'm new here.) Any help is highly appreciated.

https://f-droid.org/

First thing you see is a "Download F-Droid" at the top of hte page :)

Yalp can be gotten from in there.

Also I am using APKshare from in the F-Droid store to package up the installed apps on my previous android and bluetooth them across the the Xperiafish - it's great, most apps are working.

This is a workaround, but why are there no Android-Apps in the Jolla Store, when accessing it with the XperiaX? Where is HERE-Maps? And others?

@MaxT That's not a workaround, that's the way to get Yalp Store.

About Android apps, it's true that the only one I can see is the Aptoide Store.

@Giacomo With the tablet, Yalp store is available from Jolla Store, I do not have to install Aptiode.I do no know, if it is also visible for jolla C, as my battery died.

I can see the Android apps in Jolla Store.

Did you install the Android-Support from Jolla Store first?
