Skype, does your front camera work? (Sailfish X)

Is this issue on the new Sony Xperia X? Try wire.com, (apk can be downloaded directly from website as it should)

if it works -> please inform -> also try to dump Skype This is my not so easy but in the end satisfying suggestion for a solution to Skype related issues.

I cannot dump Skype as my entire industry uses it for International communications and I like to keep my job. I shall however take a look at wire for personal use. Thankyou.

Same here, somehow bound to Skype and guilty of pulling many users from Yahoo, MSN in the early day because Skype European , independant, Secure, Kazaa related etc.. But I remember a time where ICT managers wanting to keep their job would fear to allow corporate usage of any software able to harvest keywords and link voice conversations to any online 365 doc containing the inside trade secrets and strategy of the industry as a whole. Just ask in the high profile Skype videoconference why we aren't we Switching to Jitsi meet.jit.si and Wire.com (even though not clear if and to whom they will sell out eventually)

Same on mine XperiaX: video call offers a dirty image, and then Skype crashes, rebooting the phone!

Same problem here. What would you recommend as a alternative to skype ? Whatsapp isn't working either and Tox isn't quite working yet on other platforms.
