It helps to set tags that tell us which device you are using and which OS version your device using. You don't have enough karma to edit your own post. Add your device details in a comment below below this one and I'll amend your original post with the new tags.

Have you tried restarting the device again?

There is another post here on TJC, regarding Aquafish phone which had the same problem. see here;

i restarted it several times. the effect remains the same.

i managed to get on the recovery console and in the shell.

the device is an ordinary "Jolla Phone".

thank you for the link. i read the link and this is probably the solution. before i bricked my device i uninstalled all patches and after the reboot i got the described error. this is weird since all patches are uninstalled at the moment. i also read that reinstalling lipstick-jolla-home-qt5 should solve the problem but for some reason i get the following error:

bash-3.2# pkcon install lipstick-jolla-home-qt5

Failed to contact PackageKit: Could not connect: Connection refused

ok, sorry for not commenting. ;)

i did the following steps after connecting to the recovery console:

Recovery mode ---> Shell

mkdir /mnt/rootfs
mount /dev/mmcblk0p28 /mnt/rootfs
chroot /mnt/rootfs
mount /proc
mount /sys
mount /dev/pts

i got this steps from here

at this point i tried

pkcon install lipstick-jolla-home-qt5

and i got the error message from above.

Failed to contact PackageKit: Could not connect: Connection refused

did i miss something at this point?
