Internet Sharing starts but cannot be seen on Sailfish X? [duplicate]

On Sailfish X, I can set the SSID, change the password and even (apparently) start the service.

However my win7 laptop cannot see it, neither can an Android 6.0 phone nor my Symbian N808.

Is this limited to my device or are others having this issue?

I'm searching the store for a workaround app, though it would be nicer if the inbuilt abilty was working.

The "Tethering" app installs but if I try to share via wifi or bluetooth it comes up with "Error: Permission denied"

Thankyou.

There's a how-to for tethering here.

Known issue. Read the release notes, it's not currently working.
