Jolla C, Kiiminkijoki 2.1.2.3. No SD card inserted. Document app shows about 50 pdf documents, different sizes, all dated e.g. 3.00, 14.10.2017. All with same clock (3.00) but different dates. Try to open doc, Jolla says "doc is broken, can not open". File manager shows that nemo/Documents folder is empty. If trying to delete, delete starts but after 5 secs the file is still there! If I store a new pdf this goes ok. Can also be deleted, but these mysterious pdf's can not. Where does Jolla keep the (pdf) file list and how can I clear it?

maybe its an issue with the 'tracker'. Try to reset/clear its current cache.

Apart from that: Are you sure that these "pdfs" are not somewhere else on the 'tracker' path?

same here, not with timestamps and undeletable but the Documents-app shows my pdf's, the filebrowser doesn't. (JollaC)

please search within you entire home directory for PDFs (are you sure he claims that it are PDFs and not other documents he can read?) with find /home/nemo -type f -iname "*.pdf" and also check whether you want to reset the tracker database.

Edit: maybe you find https://openrepos.net/content/sargodevel/searchnemo more appealing for the search.

Not sure if this behaviour came with Kiiminkijoki, but also Setting/Utilities/Tracker database CLEAR simply says: Clear:failed. Unfortunately I alredy updated my Jolla 1 to Kiiminkijoki so I can not verify if the previous version Jämsänjoki did the same (fail).

Did you try to uninstall and then reinstall tracker using pkcon or zypper?

Problem solved! Pls. see question "[2.1.2] Bug on sailfish-utilities for reindexation of database" --- However, manually erasing all files in /home/nemo/.cache/tracker/ does the job (reboot required).
