Can somebody please advise how to proceed here. Device is unlocked and has been updated using EMMA to the latest build version 34.3.A.0.228. I have followed the instructions (with help on how to unlock the device) I am now ready to go. Everything is ready but when I try the final step – Double click on flash-on-windows.bat I get an error message telling me the device it locked for flashing. When I turn the device on I get this message “Your device has been unlocked and cant be trustefigurationd”when I go to the dial pad and type ##7378423## – configuration – Rooting Status: Bootloader Unlocked : Yes Build Number: 34.3.A.0.228 Android Version: 7.1.1 Please advise how to proceed here

I had to also set 'Enable OEM unlocking' in Android developer settings. Not sure if this affects flashing too. And your device must be connected in fastboot mode of course. Hope this helps, good luck!

Hi Kao: Thanks for your comment. but this is impossible OEM Unlocking (Bootloader is already unlocked) so I cant turn on or off.

when you say connected to fastboot what do you mean exactly? Having the device connected to the PC while holding the Vol Up button and getting the blue light. (This I was doing)

Yes, fastboot mode is the VolUp thing. Hm, I also had to disable the My Experia feature, and I was at .238 at that point. But I used OTA updating instead of Emma, so your problem is likely caused by something different :-/

I was indeed connected by fastboot. When updating with Emma (eventually) it just did a huge update bringing me to the latest version. (but no issues) Android works fine but its not sailfish X :(
