I find it annoying to wait for 5 seconds. I would like to be able to set the waiting time.

Why is it annoying? You don't need to wait and can continue doing something different. You can even close the application, in which a timer is running down. The waiting time will drop to 0 and do the action, before the app is closed. Is it about the moving in the app, which disturbs you?

Agree that the more customization options we have, the better. Waiting to delete something is so Android / iOS. Personally I don't wait , I check a website or email during +/- 4 seconds and then swipe back when the deleting process has been completed. Multitasking efficiency through native Sailfish applications! :)

Waiting is also confusing, if you have a list or a gallery view and you try to delete multiple files, then when you are trying to delete the next files, previous are disappearing and place of files changes. But a shorter remorse time is also not good. We need alternative ways.

Waiting is not needed. You can always pull right (accept) and it will be done immediately. Or just keep on using your app normally or close it.

You mean e.g. when deleting a picture and waiting for the 5sec timer, you can swipe right and the deletion is done immediately? I don't think so.

There's no swipe right to accept (yet). Though it would be nice feature to have.

What is in place due to the multitasking of sailfish OS, that multiple deletions are possible and there is no need to wait as all delete actions will complete individually on background.

Basically this is same thing as allowing deletion immediately.

Grace period is just very good idea to give user possibility to react when needed.

However when you don't need to act you can just go ahead and do what you want with your Jolla device.
