Hi,

If I connect my Xperia to an AuKey Quickcharger, it shows very shortly "charging" and then immediately "pull the charger out of the socket to save power". Also the LED does not lit. nonetheless the device seems to be loaded with Quickcharge, or at least faster as with the normal charger. Anyone else noticed this?

EDIT: still buggy in 2.1.3.7

Should be fixed in SFOS >= 2.1.4

Basically "high voltage dedicated charger profile" charger type was not recognized - which caused sequence like "no charger" -> "dcp" -> "hvdcp" to look like "charger connected" + "charger disconnected".

I would suggest you check your charger with another preferably power hungry or Qualcomm certified device to check if you get the same behavior just to be sure that your charger is not faulty.

For the record, I just checked the output of a Qualcomm quick charge 2.0 certified charger (the brand is Satechi) through a USB tester/detector and I can confirm that the Xperia X (with the official Sailfish image of course) is charging as expected as the charging mechanism probably is not at all managed by the operating system but at lower level in hardware through the phones chip. The phone starts drawing power at the normal USB rate of 5.0V/1.2A and then goes up to 7.5V with the amps slowly going down as the charged capacity goes up.
