The speaker volume on the Xperia X running Sailfish X is very low, certainly not as good as other phones.

Is there any way to increase the volume?

If there's no way to increase it at the moment perhaps there's a way it could be done as part of an update to Sailfish X.

I'd be keen for others to help vote up getting some way to improve the volume on the speakers.

In calls or for other things? I'm listening to radio on mine right now and it can go very loud...

For me during a call. Is more silent than with droid bulk installed. @allanbreen maybe you delete your two other posts since this thread exists three times

Please, let us keep one "ticket" for this. It doesn't help to spread around.

@NuklearFart - try spelling the users name as it is displayed, that way, when you @someonesusername they actually get the message. More to the point, while trying to post a question yesterday, together.jolla.com site went on the fritz, by the time the page came back up, I had posted my question twice but not purposely.

False alarm from my side for this one. It works fine! I've only tried a couple of times while still using my Jolla 1. I can perfectly hear from both the earpiece and the speakers. I will switch on using Xperia X as an everyday phone.

Volume seems to be quite good on my Xperia. You do actually mean the speakers and not output through the headphone jack? Did you notice any difference in volume on the device between SF and Droid?

Thanks, I'll look at that. It would be nice to have a fix as part of an OS update at some point. I understand he same issue occurred with the Xperia running stock Android but there was a way to increase the volume from with the OS.
