I purchased Sailfish X to flash my Xperia X smartphone. In the Jolla download center, I downloaded the file SailfishOS-2.1.3.5-1-f5121-0.0.1.16.zip.

Now I have the strong desire to verify that the downloaded file is ok, before I start flashing those data on the Xperia X.

On the one hand, the file is a Zip file which has some internal CRCs, which could be used for integrity checks (See Stackexchange) and the file was downloaded via HTTPS, which adds some extra level of protection.

But on the other hand, providing a simple checksum would be very easy and would add some more "everything is ok"-feeling. ;)

So here is the checksum of my download (downloaded on 21th October 2017):

File: SailfishOS-2.1.3.5-1-f5121-0.0.1.16.zip

  • md5sum: 11cf4e541cbf78ff2e895d9fd4dc0432
  • sha256sum: c2a104db7bd85819c68ea5f46928b45be7b1ec06568294e057a767b78f97c5db
  • sha512sum: 22abc12c061bf51cdb21fc0ce5733a4e4a170e57f487976144800a5d88722bae 46fd65f2ffc5d153a6012ef5f7993725ee2c410f42299b79ebcbf6e1d510e806

And zip -F SailfishOS-2.1.3.5-1-f5121-0.0.1.16.zip --out SailfishOS-fix.zip and zip -T SailfishOS-2.1.3.5-1-f5121-0.0.1.16.zip report Zip-integrity is ok.

Confirmations of this checksum are appreciated. :)

I didn't keep the zip file after I extracted it, but if you extract the zip file there's actually a md5.lst file inside where you can check the files contained therein. Here's the contents of mine:

Thanks for the tip about the file md5.list! I am sorry, that I can't accept both answers as correct, since they are both correct and helpful. But the answer of @filip-k confirms the initial checksum, so it does fit the question a little bit more.

My checksums are the same as you list them.

Also file md5.lst inside of zip has the same checksums as I calculated them.
