E-mail app does not show all mails

Hi,

my e-mail app does not show all mails which are in the in-box. Im currently using version 2.1.2.3 but this problem occured already in the older version. Do you have any idea how to fix it?

edit 1.11.2017: It is even worse now. I tried to fix my problem by reinstalling the email app and the mail account. The effect: Only 5 (it seems random) mails left. So I did the same again: No more mails inside the inbox, the same for the sent folder. However, the webmailer shows still all my mails. Any ideas that may help me?

Can you add more information please? Like: Where doesn't it show the mails? In the overview when you open the app or in the detailed view after you tapped on one of your accounts? What kind of account do you have? POP3? IMAP? When are the mails scheduled to be fetched? ...?

I use only one e-mail account on my Jolla 1, so I see directly the in-box (Posteingang). It is an IMAP account. The webmailer of the provider and my desktop mail software (Thunderbird) show all mails. The mails are scheduled to be fetched all 15 minutes. Refreshing manually does not solve the problem either.

Are you sure you are looking from same folders? I mean that maybe Jolla and Thunderbird places emails at different folder ?... Just guessing :)

I see most of the email, only a few are missing and this a new problem. I'm using my Jolla and the mail app for years without problems. Emails have been missing for 2 weeks.

@martind When you go to the folder view of the mail client and browse around a bit, do the missing mails show up somewhere?
