Get bug reports noted

How I can be sure that people involved in the development of the feature under concern notice the bug? I find TJC not optimal for reporting and tracking bugs, but maybe I'm not doing it right?

Obviously, I have to try to find meaningful tags and state the question clearly. But if I have done this to my best knowledge, what else can I do? Specifically, I'm interested how I can get feedback that the bug has been noticed at all. If the people working on the feature have decided that the problem is too complicated or not worth their effort, I can live with that.

I have filed a bug report several days ago, but I'm not getting any feedback (and rarely any views). I'm sure it's a bug and I'm confident it would be easy to solve for the right people. I have now switched back to my old android phone, so I can live with it if it is not worth the effort, but I would just like to be sure that the bug has been noted by the right people. Any tips?

I'm just pasting the link here for reference: https://together.jolla.com/question/169860/car-kit-manual-connection-to-car-sound-system-necessary-since-update-to-jamsanjoki/

@dietem

You are getting exactly what everyone else gets. If people are interested in your post or have the same problem, you get voted up, the more votes there are, the more likely Jolla will pick up on your problem, but it is also possible that no one else is having the same problem, meaning, no votes/comments........ and no notice is taken of the problem.

The way you are bug reporting is correct and you are not the first to complain that the system is not optimal and you'd be right, but you can be assured that no changes will be happening to this platform, any time soon.

Welcome to TJC.

"How I can be sure that people involved in the development of the feature under concern notice the bug?" You can't.

See this question - and in particular Chris Adams' answer to me : https://together.jolla.com/question/144345/cant-see-that-jolla-is-investigating-a-specific-bug-any-more/

"In general, if we don't comment on a bug report, it's because we haven't seen it. There are a lot of posts in TJC which are not strictly bug reports nor actionable feature requests, and sometimes things slip through the cracks. Ping me, either here on TJC or on IRC (chriadam in freenode) or via email, and I will follow up."

sorry but i they do not run regurarly queries on tjc with tags for bugs and last version, then this here is a bit like a Selbsthilfegruppe ;-)

however has somebody entered an issue.for.jetbrains resharper, mongodb into their public jira defect tracking ?

response within 1 day, closed within 2 (as rejected dummy me ;-))

but having a public defect tracking where community could report if reproducuble ... would be nice ...
