Jolla 1 for parts and Intex Aqua Fish with faulty camera for sale [not a question]
I have a broken Jolla 1, I bought it 2 years ago after my previous one has been stolen... I had a car accident 1 year after and the phone broke. The case deformed a bit + the lcd cracked inside. The phone still working and the the touch screen as well but you can not see much on the screen because the lcd is broken... I haven't used it for a year and now I decided to sell it if anyone interested it for Jolla 1 parts... (in original box + a new Stella back cover)
I bought an Intex Aqua Fish after the accident, that phone is still working well apart of the camera what is stopped working 2 months ago. A month ago I bought an Xperia X and I would like to sell the Aqua Fish to who don't need the main camera or need for parts... It is working like Jolla C, I used it with early access updates without any issues, it is about 1 year old with fine battery and nice condition still with the original screen protector in original box + a bonus phone case.
I can send photos for request.
Jolla 1 for £30 the Aquafish for £70 .
The phones are in UK but I can ship it almost anywhere...
Any questions just ask.
Edit.: Both sold!
I've e-mailed you regarding buying the broken Jolla 1.

Could you please tell me what symptoms did you had with your AF's camera?
I am curious because mine started to get issues too :(
martonmiklos ( 2017-12-26 23:26:14 +0300 )edithello,
Yes, instead of the camera picture there was just a black background when I tried to take a photo. If I changed to the front camera, that worked fine... A day after the picture has come back for a while (1-2 days) then it has gone again. It happened 2-3 times and then it has just gone permanently, never came back.
Same thing happened with my girlfriend's Chinese phone, if I hit it a bit it has come back for a while but then it also died. The only difference that I could find camera module for her phone and managed to replace it, but unfortunately I couldn't find it for the AF...
liqquid ( 2017-12-27 01:39:12 +0300 )edit@liqquid Many thanks for your answer! I have exactly the same symptom.
Yesterday evening I have took apart mine, and put under my microscope and realised that the camera connector's pins are soldered with cold joints.
It is a symptom caused by improper manufacturing conditions and it results electrical contacts which conductivity parameters will decrease with time as the solder oxidising. I have resoldered the connector pins so now it works. We will see how it goes, if it is going to work for a week I will create a post here just to help others with the same issue in the future.
martonmiklos ( 2017-12-27 09:25:11 +0300 )editOh, that is sounds brilliant, I haven't had a proper soldering iron at home and also never checked it under microscope :) you are more precise. I had a thought it can be something connectivity problem, but I also thought it can be a poor quality camera module what is present in the AF :) . Anyway, I really hope this could help and solve the issue, I am looking fourward your experiences after this experiment ;) .
