On my Xperia X, sync with google is completely stuck. When connecting with my gmail account, Sailfish will read all contacts and events, and that's all. Any event or contact created or edited after that handshake, will not sync, not from google to sailfish, nor from sailfish to google. Deleting the google account refreshes the content and then I am stuck again. (everything used to work fine in my JollaC Aquafish under 2.1.3.5, also on 2.1.3.7 but very slow)

Today I reflashed my XperiaX with 2.1.3.7. No change, still no working Google Syncing. I can trigger sync from calendar or from accounts same result: Zero sync with Google calendar data, syncs Google address data ok however.

I've bit similar experiences. My google accounts needs resigning about every week. It does retrieve contacts and calendar stuff from google, but it seems not to work from XperiaX to google. Sync doesn't work to google, but to my XperiaX it works. Don't know the reason. There are many old topics about this with J1 or with JollaC...

Yes I know, but on JollaC with 2.1.3.5 I was almost happy - and now with brandnew phone on 2.1.3.7 back to old times

Delete the google account does not work here. After delete, restart, reinstall Google Account, Sailfish will only sync one time (read all from Google) then stall.

Not an answer, however, I am facing the same problem. I did not re-flash my phone. I deleted the Google account and re-created it. All the contacts were refreshed, calendar events re-created; but then, now, whatsapp fails to recognize any of the contacts. My Intex Aquafish with latest updates worked just fine.
