Im one of those happy Sailfish X users. It works fine for me and I get my daily stuff done with out any issues.

But there is one more thing. My guilty pleasure Jodel. I probably could install Google Play Services and Jodel apk, but I would prefer having a Google free phone.

Im not an IT guy and I dont have any knowledge about coding whatsoever. Therefore I want to ask if anyone is out there, who wants to bring Jodel to SFOS? For Windows Phone exits an unofficial app and it seems like the company has nothing against it.

from Jodel App FAQ

Well, you are in luck, young Jodler, there is an unofficial App for Windows Phone called Wodel available here: https://www.microsoft.com/store/p/wodel/9nblggh5lmd0

Keep in mind that it is not developed not by us, and we can't help you if you have problems with the app.

Many thanks in advance mak

I think it is safe to say that this will be a 'no-go'. We don't even have native Facebook or Whatsapp and here you are asking if anyone is interested in developing an app most of us have likely not heard of?, I'll be very surprised if anyone takes up the challenge on this one. This is just my opinion, for what it's worth.

@Edz The difference in that case is, that the company is not against this unofficial apps. In case of Facebook especially with it's WhatsApp messenger you are hunted by the company if you develop an unofficial app for their service. But you are right, that most of the people here will not be interested in this german app.

btw there was a similar question already back in 2015: https://together.jolla.com/question/122210/native-jodel-app/

What do I lose by asking? ;)

Jodel is quite popular in Germany but I think it gains popularity in other countries as well .

I'll close this in favour of the older question linked by @Zandi.
