Currently in settings of apps Apps are sorted by UI screen pages but should be sorted like this:

  1. Has settings menue, yes, no - move to bottom
  2. Alphabetical for apps with settings and apps without settings separately;

Current Change to two tile setup, active and inactive settings

I think this is intentional: By keeping the apps in the order as you placed them, you will find them exactly where they normally are (by "muscle memory"). I actually like it, but admittedly it took a little while for me to get used to it. Like so much on Sailfish - Having suffered from bad UX for so long I could hardly imagine things being different. Just IMHO.

Kao, wow your right, just that fact i totally missed. So in that case an improvement could be to CLEARLY delineate that you are looking at Screen 1 versus Screen 2 versus Screen 3, it could be a thick line or a title or something like it.

Also what you say is only partially true, since it is expanding folders with multuple apps.

Oh, good to know about the expanding folders. I have not created any yet, so I haven't noticed this effect.
