whatsapp cannot access camera [released]

i have latest sailfish OS installed.

whatsapp cannot access camera. i see unsupported error coming from whatsapp when i try to attach a picture media (from camera) to a chat.

Not really a solution for WhatsApp, but you could use Mitakuuluu instead. It's a native WhatsApp client for Sailfish and it does support uploading media (via the gallery, not directly from the camera).

Installing an Android camera app from one of the android should solve your problem. At least it works for me.
