Hi,

I'm using Xperia X with Android. I want to try Sailfish X. But how about my data? My phone will be reset? Is it possible to move data (sms, mms, calls, contacts, etc) from Android? Is it possible to have two OS'es an share data?

Robert

Yes, your device will be reset, all data erased. Back up your stuff first. See here: https://together.jolla.com/question/168541/release-notes-213-kymijoki-for-sony-xperia-x/ and everything tagged 'SailfishX'.

Fantastic question!

  1. For calendar, contacts you can use fruux,
  2. For email, SMTP, POP or Exchange server accounts to sync up emails;
  3. For image backups, passwords i use Syncthing which moves all SDCard files, documents or images to shared partner device, aka your home laptop on same WIFI;
  4. For Android App backups sign up for and Use Aptoid Store, and Aptoid Backup (install on Xperia Android, backup all apps), on SFOS do the same sign into account and restore Android Apps;
