Hello everybody,
This is a simple suggestion regarding the little cog used in the event view. Every time I want to access to jolla settings, I click on this icon and then go back to the main setting menu.
My suggestion would be that this icon would bring the user directly to the general setting view. What do you think about that? It will be one gesture less, and thus bring a better user experience to my mind.

There is a thread where you can find yourself a couple of tips: https://together.jolla.com/question/117024/which-additional-quick-actions-would-you-like-to-have/. Still I'm not emphasising any of these ways; it's almost the same mess, as again you will have to reposition all of your hinges after having installed an update.
lakutalo ( 2017-11-26 19:56:46 +0300 )editI did create a so called 'quickaction' for Settings but I can see that I've removed it - possibly due to criticism/peer pressure and/or a lack of downloads, I don't actually recall.

I believe the idea is that it takes you to the page of options for Shortcuts and Quickactions - it isn't meant to be a shortcut for Settings. That's why it is where it is, so you don't have to go to Settings then into Eventsview for shortcuts/quickactions, at least this is my take on it.
Spam Hunter ( 2017-11-21 18:30:36 +0300 )editIMHO, once the event view is set-up, no one is going to modify it "every day". It's why I'm thinking this should bring us to the setting pages. Another options would be to add a Shortcut to go to the general setting. But I still prefer the first option!
