Hello,

The vibrations when receiving a message or an e-mail are the same. It was different for the Jolla phone and was a efficient way to distinguish the two of them. Is there a way to change the vibration setting of the phone to do the same ?

J1 patterns were just fine. Thus the question would be why they are different on X?

There is no way to change that via GUI, but you can challenge your skills by adopting the configuration of the non graphical feedback daemon. ;) The config files can be found in /usr/share/ngfd.

You may also find numerous threads by searching for ngfd, some of them containing hints (as a comprehensive documentation is still vainly sought for). A simple search for vibration, by the way reveals this post: https://together.jolla.com/question/75711/how-to-modifiy-vibration-strengthpattern/

There is also a thread discussing the advantages of a GUI, which I would recommend you to join and vote for: https://together.jolla.com/question/83453/gui-for-configuring-non-graphical-feedback/

Unfortunately, I have no skill AT ALL. I voted for the thread, just in case.
