Or asked the other way round, does YouYota pay Jolla license fees for using SailfishOS in the resurrection version of the Jolla tablet?
On one hand I am asking for ethical reasons - I would very much like Jolla to get a piece of the cake, and on the other hand YouYota is offering Android support, too.

My understanding is that the youyota people said they were going to license SailfishOS once the campaign was complete, but I haven't heard any more about this since then. If they actually went trough and licensed SailfishOS then Jolla probably is getting some kind of license fee, either a lump sum or a per-device royalty. Did a quick look around and wasn't able to find anything further on the subject so I can't say for sure if the tablet is running a properly licensed copy of SailfishOS. Also, considering the fact that they still haven't started production and are only now receiving the parts it's pretty clear that actual deliveries won't start until some point next year.
@lakutalo If you're expecting the same level of support as the original Jolla phone or a new iPhone model (for which you have to pay up the nose) maybe, but on Android you're lucky to get 2 years and by Android standards 3 years is downright exceptional. Even Google doesn't support Nexus devices for more than 2 years.

I may be wrong, but I have not read anything from Jolla pointing to YouYota. Maybe you could help me there. Self information on YouYota is not that comprehensive either. If everything is clear, then just super!
