Hello,

I'm making my first app and I would like to put something on the screen when my app run in back. For instance, a black rectangle in the top-right of the screen even if I'm on an other app.

Is it possible ?

Thanks in advance.

You mean multitasking view? Example when you let music player to background process, and you see player with some options (pause and skip music track) bottom of that player "window" in multitask view.

Hopefully you understand what I tried to say. :)

I know how to put play and pause button on the cover of the app on the "home screen" with all the apps opened. But I'm trying to make a filter on the screen (to changes the color's temperature like redshift/f.lux), so it has to change it in background process yes. I hope you understand me too... ;)

@kawak__

coderus already made such an application, maybe you can learn from dissecting that.

@Edz I tried, but the overlay doesn't work out of the app for me

@kawak__ so then go and ask me how to make it working if you do not understand some technical details.

I guess you didn't see Edz's earlier comments, but apparently no, not like that according to author of the OP.

:D
