Any way to pass safetynet basic integrety checks?

Having just upgraded my new Xperia to SFOSX I'm trying to install a few Android apps that I gave up on on my J1 due to the old Android version requiring APK edits to get them running (4.4 -> 4.1). Fine for some, but for those using SafetyNet, this obviously failed the APK signature checks.

So, I now have a shiny new Xperia with SFOSX, and with it a newer version of Android that shouldn't require APK edits. But SafetyNet is still failing and causing me grief.

I've renamed the su binaries, so that's not it, but is there any way to determine what the checks are looking for so I can "massage" the system into passing?

I also backed up the TA partition first, so I could restore that if that's required, but I don't know how that interacts with SFOSX...?
