Add additional notification tones

I am a big fan of Sailfish os, but i realized that aside the standard possibilities to add system tones which means:
- ringtone
- message
- chat
- clock
- calendar
there is no possibility to add additional tones, like for example for different chat application, me for example, i have Threema, Whatsapp and Sailorgram installed, Whatsapp has a tone through the setting "Chat" Threema has apparently an own system tone, but the native application Sailorgram has no tone at all, and i also cannot add a tone for this application. This should actually not be such a big problem, the sound menu should be editable.

With Jolla C I do have tone for Sailorgram also but in my wifes Xperia X which has same Sailorgram version and same OS revision has no tone. I haven't yet figured out why it is so. So which phone you are using, maybe this is problem in Sailfish X??

You have a great idea of having custom tones. Alongside with your idea, I believe that it'd be useful to have a possibility to do app association with standard/custom tone too.
