Stock browser freezes when accessing https://root.cz. Sometimes the whole UI becomes unresponsive and the phone has to be switched off by holding power button, then it normally reboots. Reboot is also needed in order to get browser back to work when UI survives. The phone is Xperia X, Sailfish X Build 2.1.3.7 (Kymijoki).

@d.fridrich Could you please add device and sw release version info in there?

Do you visit the site with Jolla 1? The site seems to be very "hungry" on CPU. I tested with my desktop PC and the javascript on that site needs about 7s to compute in firefox on a i7 CPU. Another 1s is needed for graphic reduction and 1.5s-2.3s needed for analytics/ad/syndication javascript. The site does about 150 requests (client-server-roundtrips) for just opening the index page. I can imagine that Jolla 1 may have some problems with that. The site IMHO is poorly implemented concerning performance and not really respecting bandwith and CPU usage.

In my case and three attempts on Jolla Device adaptation 1.0.0.9, build 2.1.3.7, developer mode on browser's progress bar got stuck at approx. 60%, 30% and 0% in this order. The browser froze, then minimized. After another click on minimized browser it behaved similarly (partial or no progress, then freeze). After minimizing, I can turn the browser off.

I have the same problem on Sailfish X with default browser. I really had to restart the device as it was unresponsive.

The site opens without problem with disabled JavaScript in Browser

The problem was about CSS loading loop but disabling JavaScript might have made some web pages work depending on the page itself.
