Browser text input repeats

In some web page text input fields, all the text typed so far is appended to the previously typed text. It seems to relate to auto-suggest. e.g. entering from and to in the TfL journey planner is nearly impossible

Typing 'station' results in 'sststastatstatistatiostation'

This has been a constant feature of Sailfish since Jolla The First One, and seems to not exist in other browsers.

Hitting the backspace key when typing a search string at Twitter does something similar.

This issue might be more or less obvious depending on connection quality.

@mdoube

I viewed your question (on my Jolla1 OS 2.1.3.7) using the Jolla together app and you are correct. If the site (TfL) is viewed using webview, then typing happens as expected, so clearly this is a bug with sailfish-browser. Nice find.

Yes, I'd noticed this. I used to paste in station codes from a list in notes! These days I use Android/Firefox.
