Well, I accidentally updated (2.1.4 lapuanjoki) my xperia x with openrepos patches enabled... When update progress bar was full, only red notification led lights.

So what I need to do to fix my bricked phone. I need instructions! At least I have to use recovery mode. Does this instructions are valid for me: https://thejollablog.wordpress.com/2014/02/12/jolla-recovery-mode/

I don't have solution ... But next time, think to install "Unapply all patches on upgrade" A real good patch to avoid your problem.

Can you SSh into the device? If yes, you could try to unapply the patches and do the upgrade/downgrade again.

Official instructions are here: https://jolla.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/204709607-Jolla-Phone-How-to-use-Recovery-Mode

You could copy your home partition to an SD-Card or via ssh to your PC to save your data before doing a factory reset.

Well my phone nevertheless works, but application launcher folder pictures missing, because I'm using open repos patch that gives more folder pictures. So for now I'm factory reseted phone throught sailfish settings, and trying to install lapuanjoki again. Do I still need to use recovery mode, I mean is it necessary to make "fresh" sailfish installation or just continue current situation?

Reflash Sailfish OS to your device. Should that not work, then revert your device back to Android and then reflash Sailfish. Brief instructions here.
