on creating a new contact, I can not choose the drop downs of the fields for phone number, website...after trying to change the entry, the app crashes immediately. This is new, after the update to 2.1.4

Maybe similar issue since update, some apps like "jolla together" crashes if I scroll.

Does anybody have the same issues?

Same problem here with Xperia X on 2.1.4. This is a big bug imho, can't make proper use of the voice dial of my handsfree in car because I can't give the proper labes to the saved numbers.

I can confirm this bug (Xperia X 2.1.4.14). It happens with many apps and, IMHO, it has something to do with lists.

Thank for reporting. It is still possible to create a new contact (to find something positive from this). The app tends to crash when trying to change something. Bug filed.

@jovirkku - after updating my Jolla1 from 2.1.4.13 to 2.1.4.14, I can say that the problem of editing a contact seems to be resolved. I can create a new contact (was not a problem anyway) and I can edit every detail of my contact; email, website, nickname, details, etc, without the app crashing.

yes, jolla-contacts crashes on jolla1 when trying to change something, even with 2.1.4.14 (fixes BT only)

this is a seriuos bug. Why not release an update on Jolla store for people app?

When is the next update supposed to come?

I can also confirm, that all my tries to modify a contact failed.

Once again, I do not consider the responsiveness of Jolla a good example considering the high impact of this bug on the daily work with my primary phone.

How about

I can confirm for changing phone no's using the pop up menu (long press). Any menu option selected ( change label, type or delete) results in people app to crash.

There's no need to actually select any menu item. After long pressing phone number, with menu change label, type or delete, pressing above the menu crashes the app. It should just exit the menu.
