I've seen newer version numbers on here, how do I update? Update through settings is not working. I am on Sony Xperia X.

Same here, checked a few times recently but apparently the 2.1.4 update is not yet available for the normal users. Only available for the early access users. However you might expect it to be available in march 2018-03-01according to: Sailfish 2.1.4 release notes

Update version history

2018-02-20: 2.1.4.13 was released to Early Access subscribers. Japanese and Korean removed from the list of new languages (not yet quite ready).
2018-02-28: 2.1.4.14 was released to Early Access subscribers. BT audio issue on Jolla1 fixed.
2018-02-dd: 2.1.4.x to be released to all users (not Aqua Fish).

2.1.4 is available for early access. If you're not subscribed, you'll get the update about week later.
