As for there is a new Package-Kit API we need a new Warehouse / Storeman Version. Anyone working on it?

NOTIFICATIONS CONCERNING APPS FROM OPEN REPOS:

Installing OS update 2.1.4 automatically removes **Warehouse** (versions <= 0.3) and **Storeman** (versions <= 0.0.15) applications.

This is necessary because 2.1.4 brings in the new PackageKit that has changed its API. Warehouse and Storeman are locked against the older version of the library. If they are not removed during the update, they block the upgrade of PackageKit-Qt5, which then breaks all further updates (Settings page would get stuck on 'Preparing update' and version --dup would fail with an InvalidArgs error).

Warehouse and Storeman can only be installed again after they switch to the new PackageKit API.

@luen i see it more like: will warehouse get an update? if it is unmaintained, is anybody interested in doing a fork? after all, storeman is very different and maybe some people wouldnt like it.

Unfortunately Storeman has some issues. So an update for openrepos may be good as well.

What issues, it works well, I have not had an issue and it has had updates since the 2.1.4 upgrade.

E.g. Storeman has to be closed if installation fails: If an installation fails, Storeman has to be closed before another installation can be tried. The pulley menu doesn't allow to choose "Install" and the status text still shows "Installing xy..." (I will report. Always forget - have to create a github account ;-) ) And there has been something else I can't remember right now. But it messed up an installation and was commented by me and someone else. Maybe it's fixed by now.

BTW: I really like Storeman. It's nicer than warehouse app. But maybe warehouse earns an update?
