In the release notes for 2.1.4 is a statement that androib hardware buttons are enabled for the accione and mapped to silica actions.

Is this the home/back/menu buttons, and if so, to what actions and how is it done? I'd add it to my mido port of it was useful. I can map the back key within an app, but a global solution would be ideal.

At least initially it is more about allowing alien dalvik to use real home/menu/back keys when those are available instead of wasting part of touchscreen for virtual buttons (i.e. not something that would be used globally in whole sfos).
