Better interaction between messaging android apps and sailfish

Hi. Interaction between messaging apps and sailfish is pretty good right now. Still, there are some annoying features lacking. Take this example: my mother (not very skilled with mobiles) yesterday wanted to attach a document in whatsapp. The folder shown in the app is the one related to android services, not the one in \home where the document was stored. From the documents app in sailfish, there was no option in the GUI slider to send the document in whatsapp. I had to copy and paste that document into the correct folder, readable from whatsapp. Similar problem when one wants to download and read a document from whatsapp: an error message will tell that no app (I think it still refers to android) is available to read the document. When one wants to hear a vocal message, the first seconds are covered with the notification sound, except when ambience is set as silent, a bug very annoying that I know it has yet been reported. Please, solve this kind of problems, as they are annoying not so much for me, but they are for the end-user with limited knowledge of sailfishOS. Thanks.

How about summarising this in my Android wishlist for 2018 wiki? The way that native storage is not accessible to Android apps is indeed irritating. Have an upvote in the meantime ;-)

Thanks @pakman, please write it there! In facts, this place is so huge I missed your thread. And the problem is way more general than with messaging apps (whatsapp, telegram, etc).

mkdir /home/nemo/android_storage/actual_stuff

and then

mount -o bind /home/nemo/ /home/nemo/android_storage/actual_stuff/

as root every time you want to send something or automatically at startup(i don't know how you autorun something at startup but there are people who did that) should help the wrong folder thing.
