Unable to connect to Store following factory reset [answered]

After a failed attempt to upgrade to 2.1.4, my Jolla 1 would not boot past the Jolla splash screen. I have performed a factory reset using the recovery tool, which has reverted the phone to 1.1.9.

Unfortunately I cannot connect to the Store to uprade the OS or install any apps. I get the following error:

Problem with Store General communication problem with the store server

Is this a known thing? I haven't performed a reset before so have no relevant experience.

Many thanks.

This can occur when there is no internet connection. Seeing as you have reset the device, it may be worth checking your APN settings. Also, check your locale in Time settings.

Maybe also: check settings > accounts > Jolla. Is your account active?

Thanks for the comments. The problem was an incorrect date setting. I set the date during the initial setup following the reset, but for some reason, it did not save properly, and I did not notice. I realised when I couldn't connect to Google due to its certificate having a start date in the "future". I then noticed the date was set to 2015, fixed it, and Store now working OK.
