Hi. Thanks a lot. Just installed the app and first impression is just fine.
Well, there is a glitch...: „Error loading media” which seems to appear in some categories and program selections. Perhaps this is what Joonne mentioned earlier regarding content limitations from Yle side. I hope you guys could figure it out, if not please contact Yle - I've been upset for a long time that I cannot get Areena working on my Kodi! It would be otherwise awesome to get rid of the horrible Android app in Sailfish ;-)

Please publish this in www.openrepos.net and in Harbour when it's stable enough.
We were looking into the YLE API two years ago, but the video stream simply refused to play back then. The project was abandoned. Apparently you got around the issue. The old thread is here: https://together.jolla.com/question/88424/new-version-of-yle-areena/

But for me native app would need to have the possibility to continue listening a show where I left off to be able to compete with the Android app.

I had basically otherwise working app but videos just wouldn't play, not even on my computer using instructions from YLE. I was in contact with their support but couldn't solve the issue with them. Please do push the source code to github so we can help with development. Just remember that the API key is private so you probably need to remove it from the sources before sharing the code.
mal ( 2018-03-16 12:57:37 +0300 )editIt might be the issue I mentioned about that they are limiting quite a lot of content. It means basically that even if you are able to create the video URL, it won't necessarily play at all.
I'll push the project into GitHub during weekend hopefully so you can take a look & test it.
