no vibration anymore

Hey, since 2.1.4 update (I'm not quite sure about the exact time) my xperia doesn't vibrate anymore. It's enabled and it can't be broken because it does work when I turn the fon on (short shake). But even the csd test fails. Any way to dig deeper to test it?
i have the same problem. not only vibration, but the sound is gone as well. i had this problem once before and i solved this by factory reset and then updating to recent version. is there possibility to restart sound and vibration service from command line?
